Our client is looking for a Sr. Application Production Support Specialist (60034123)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Location: Toronto, ON
As a Senior Production Application Support Analyst, you will join the Enterprise Archer Technology group responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any production issues as well as providing business support services for the enterprise application.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Review technical issues, by troubleshooting and reviewing logs to identify technical issues   
• Manage, support, and resolve technical issues arising in a calm and efficient manner
• Escalate and coordinate technology issues with the appropriate application support and technology infrastructure groups
• Evaluate service requests and business support requests to ensure adherence to standards and processes, identifying inconsistencies while analyzing potential impacts of problems
• Analyze technical information to determine risk levels and technical feasibility when making changes to applications
• Identify and resolve minor to medium complexity production problems for support of applications
• Successfully prioritize and manage multiple requests, projects, and activities typically working under pressure    
• Effectively communicate problems and resolutions to various levels of the organization
• Ensure that all changes follow the appropriate process
• Ensure there are no issues when moving into the production environment
• Liaise with the development team to execute production support tasks to support IT changes and production deployments
• Work with the appropriate internal teams to support production maintenance activities as required
What We’re Looking For:

• Must have at least 3 years of professional experience with Production Application Support, preferably within the Financial Industry
• Must have experience in supporting CRM and online applications
• Must have experience troubleshooting productions issues, reviewing logs and XML messages
• Must have experience writing SQL queries for production analysis
• Must have experience working with Windows and Linux platforms
• Must have experience leading production issue triage calls
• Must have strong communication in order to articulate technical issue and provide appropriate solutions
• Experience working in a C environment considered an asset
• Experience working with the RSA Archer considered an asset
• Experience supporting payment applications considered an asset
Technologies needed for this role:
IIS, SQL, Archer, SQL-Server 2000/ 2005/ 2008/ 2012 and PL/ SQL, T-SQL in Oracle, Reporting Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Crystal Rep, Microsoft Visual Studio .net 2005/ 2008 (, C#.Net, Web Service, T-SQL Developer, Asp.Net, Ado.Net, Ajax, CSS, MS SQL Server 2000/ 2005/ 2008/ R2; SQL scripts (i.e. C#,, T-SQL, etc), Reporting Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, NAnt, SourceGear Vault/ Fortress (source control)
