Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for Technical Support
Technical Support (61056941)
Contract Duration: (5.5 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems, typically of a lower complexity
• May install software or perform hardware testing remotely
• Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors
• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities
• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support
Required Qualifications/Experience
• Previous work in a data center in a similar role like an operator/dispatcher (working on servers)
• Any call center experience
• Understanding of database (power outage, building operations)
• Previous experience installing UPS is great
• Communication skills- being able to clearly communicate any issues within data center
• Bachelor's degree or Post-Secondary education
