Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for a Business Analyst
 
JP00018112 - Business Analyst (54203366)
 
Contract Duration: (6 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies in existing and proposed work processes, expense reduction, and risk mitigation
• Develop an implementation strategy and plan for Procurement to Pay for Third Party arrangements
• Act as the point of contact for Third Party payment related issues
• Process vendor payments, ensuring they are accurate and recorded in the proper financial period
• Manage activities to ensure recovery of shared expenses from business lines
• Analyze and identify opportunities to reduce vendor expenses and risk
• Vendor invoicing and budget management
• Perform vendor onboarding and reporting processes, as required, ensuring they are efficient.
• Perform comprehensive vendor financial management and reporting supporting the preparation of business cases and post implementation assessments
 
Required Qualifications/Experience
 
• Financial management understanding to support decision making/recommendations on expense reviews, business plans and forecasts/reconciliation
• Business analysis, gathering requirements, process mapping, writing documentation
• Solid understanding of Third Party process
• Experience with vendor management reporting and processes from a support perspective
• Enjoy working on complex issues and business management and generating creative and business-oriented solutions
• Possess strong skills in communication and the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, excellent skills with Access
• Successfully manage multiple projects/priorities while maintaining momentum and achieving results
• Be a proactive self-starter with the ability to see opportunities for continual business improvement
• Have excellent research and investigative skills
• Be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with various levels of individuals across teams
• Come from similar large environment as clients business – no small shops( open to retail, telecom, consulting et al
• Post-secondary education is required
