Business Systems Analyst (57567366)
Contract Duration: (12 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
• The Business Systems Analyst, working under the direction of the Senior Business Analyst, is responsible for gathering and documenting the business requirements and application system requirements,
• The applicant will work to ensure that the deliverables produced by the development team conform to the business requirements.
• Beyond the facilitation of the up-front business requirements and system requirements gathering sessions and resulting documentation, the role also involves driving the user acceptance testing process, including preparation of acceptance criteria, review of the test plans and scenarios, review of test results as well as taking responsibility for end to end testing. The candidate may also execute test cases and directly ensures system integrity.
• The Business System Analyst is also involved in reviewing key development and design deliverables, including interface specifications, integration requirements, data schemas, design documentation, the business' implementation strategies, and plans.
Required Qualifications/Experience
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Communications Order and Service Management (OSM), IBM Operational Decision Manager (business rule engine), and/or IBM Business Process Manager
• Ability to work autonomously to learn large amount of information in a short amount of time as ramp up on new projects
• Ability to understand how different areas of the application integrates with other downstream system and to assess the ripple impacts
• Ability to understand business needs and to document them into Business Requirements and System Requirements
