Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for a Business System Analyst
Business System Analyst (57606356)
Contract Duration: (12 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
• Serving as a liaison between technical teams and business users
• Gathering, documenting and validating business requirements and producing business requirement document
• Identifying functional requirements and creating functional and non-functional requirement document
• Working with Solution Architects for option analysis and solution
• Working with the vendors and architects to ensure solution will meet the business needs and requirements if necessary
• Conducting business process, data analysis and reporting using PL/SQL and other programming tools
• Conducting system analysis, reverse engineering for legacy client server and standalone applications, documenting the functional specifications for replacement solutions  
• Developing plans for assigned task and follow-up with responsible teams.
• Conducting and facilitating meetings to solve day to day issues and improvements for future.  
• Supporting system design, development and testing activities and provide requirements clarification if necessary.
• Preparing user training material and training plan
• Providing user training
Required Qualifications/Experience
• Bachelor Degree or better in Business, Computing Engineering or Science, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a business or business process analyst
• Demonstrable experience engaging with stakeholders from different areas of the business
• Excellent communicator, both orally and in writing and ability to manage and influence stakeholders
• Demonstrable experience overseeing system implementations to meet business and project requirements
• Extensive knowledge of business and systems development from methodology through analysis, design, development, implementation and production support
• Hands on experience of developing process flow chart/diagram and use of formal process notation such as BPMN-2.0 are must.
• Hands on skills in PL/SQL, MSAccess tools and/or MSExcel Macro development.
