Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for a Quality Management Specialist
 
Quality Management Specialist (57610783)
 
Contract Duration: (24 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Drafting the Quality Management Framework for the IT Services department
• Drafting guidelines to help project managers, quality teams and stakeholders with setting up quality requirements, managing control procedures, monitoring quality levels, taking corrective actions and implementing improvements
• Creating templates required by the framework
• Training Quality Assurance Analysts on Quality Management principles and ensuring that they execute QM activities consistently on all capital and operating initiatives
• Reviewing and approving project QA plans
• Helping QA Analysts to establish appropriate project QA metrics. This involves select specific product attributes and define how to control these attributes during the project implementation process
• Monitoring and controlling Project Quality Management activities
• Developing and implementing a process to monitor the efficacy of training sessions and addressing any identified shortfalls
• Proactively identifying, analyzing, exploring and implementing, with appropriate endorsement Quality and risk enhancements
 
Required Qualifications/Experience
 
• Must have PMP certification
• Thorough knowledge of quality management principles and practices.
• Experience with the implementation of the Quality Management Framework.
• For 3 successfully implemented projects must demonstrate identified quality requirements, standards and project deliverables. This must be accompanied by documentation that proves that project demonstrated compliance with identified quality requirements.  
• Ability to understand complex problems and draw appropriate conclusions
• Ability to work independently or as a member of a team to achieve stated objectives
• Ability to take the initiative and make appropriate decisions
• Demonstrated experience and achievements in implementing organization wide quality/risk management improvement initiatives through structured education programmes and systems documentation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skill
