Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst
 
Senior Business Analyst (58189916)
 
Contract Duration: (6 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to drive out business priorities
• Apply key elicitation techniques and advanced facilitation techniques to conduct large workshops
• Analyze and document scope of the business solution using enterprise-standard requirements process and techniques
• Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives
• Conduct requirements walkthroughs and facilitate sign-off with stakeholders
• Validate test cases and ensure they provide full coverage of the critical requirements
 
Required Qualifications/Experience
 
• Working as a Business Analyst with progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of requirements management on large and complex projects within Capital Markets, Risk and Regulatory Capital (preferred)
• Experience in all facets of project lifecycle; strong comprehension of project delivery methodologies; genuine commitment to project environment and discipline
• Strong understanding or experience in either: Market Risk, Credit Risk, Regulatory Capital (RWA) through working on Basel II/III, Dodd Frank (IHC CCAR), OSFI (BCAR)
• Experience in the Risk Capital measurement space (FED/OSFI/CCAR/BCAR/Economic/Regulatory Capital) as a BA/SME (Risk Weighted Asset, RWA (Market risk or Credit risk) calculation for any asset class) – would be a definite asset (preferred)
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Requirements elicitation techniques including document analysis, interviews, facilitated workshops, observation and prototyping
• Requirements analysis and documentation including scope modeling, business process mapping, use case modeling, data requirements, rules models, user interface design, non-functional requirements and user stories and acceptance criteria definition
