Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for a Risk Analyst
 
JP21598 - Risk Analyst (58310514)
 
Contract Duration: (12 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Contribute to the development and operationalization of polices, standards, and processes to identify, report, and mitigate overall risk exposures within the business
• Proactively analyze potential operational risks and ensure key risks are aggregated/escalated to appropriate areas
• Contribute to the effective management of financial results and budgeting activities
• Support on-going operation risk measurement activities by acquiring, analyzing, and reporting business operational or relevant loss data
• Establish and provide regular risk analysis and reporting on operational loss performance of the business
• Identify issues and opportunities, understand trends and provide specialized business management advice to senior management and respective teams while raising industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness.
• Lead and coordinate the integrated implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and solutions across multiple functional areas.
• Provide subject matter expertise and help identify, design, test solutions and support implementation activities.
• Develop and provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at both the functional or enterprise level.
• Create and deliver presentations and communications geared to management or broader audience.
 
Required Qualifications/Experience
 
• 5-7+ years Risk/Business Analyst experience (with Risk and Audit control)
• Very strong Data analytics and reporting skills dealing with lots of data
• Risk/Business Analyst experience supporting the technology/financial space
• Advanced Excel (Excel automation, Pivot tables, V look ups)
• Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with SharePoint development
