Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst
Business Systems Analyst with FATCA (58460815)
Contract Duration: (6 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
• Manage risks, dependencies, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties
• Support project implementation planning activities, elicit requirements
• Perform document analysis and prepare the requirements elicitation
• Plan, conduct and follow-up on stakeholder interviews
• Plan, conduct and follow-up on small to large facilitated requirements workshops
• Analyze and Document Requirements
• Business Process mapping – for documenting end-to-end business processes
• Use Cases – for documenting system processes
• Conduct requirements deliverables review walkthrough and facilitate sign-off with stakeholders.
• Ensure business requirements are traceable through specifications, solution design and test cases
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and business needs
• Resolve conflicts/issues on behalf of requirements team on a project/program and escalate as required
• Perform gap analysis between solution options and requirements in order to assess and recommend value-add solution options to satisfy business needs
• Support the development of the Test Plan for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Required Qualifications/Experience
• Experience working as a BA/ BSA within the financial services industry in FATCA project.
• Experience working in a major transformation initiative i.e. analysis including requirements definition, feasibility studies, cost estimates, proposals, business process mapping, design, development, quality assurance, user acceptance testing and implementation
• Experience in Information Technology in all phases of the systems development lifecycle in a Waterfall and Agile methodology
• Knowledge of FATCA and CRS
• Ability to facilitate requirements gathering meetings.
• Demonstrated ability to design and deliver a business process that meets the expected outcomes within a major transformation initiative
• Strong analytical and product management skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret and anticipate internal and external customer needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to consider how work underway impacts other areas/projects
• Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects concurrently, balancing deliverables and ability to prioritize deliverables across projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
