Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for an Online Publishing Analyst
 
JP22135 - Online Publishing Analyst (58724336)
 
Contract Duration: (12 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Support the rapid delivery of projects to website properties (includes: Business as Usual content changes, Marketing Campaigns, Corporate Initiatives, Regulatory changes, Channel projects, and more)
• Assess client requests by understanding the business requirements, impact to clients and customers, and alignment to an integrated online experience
• Document and coordinate all project related documents and activities (where required) including requirements, change requests, tracking, project status reporting, and communication
• Coordinate deployment activities with Testing, Implementation Management and Support teams to ensure successful delivery and projects
• Align work activities to support priorities as defined, ensure deliverables meet quality objectives (on time, on budget, delivered to meet business need), communicates project status and provide timely escalation of issues
• Participate in annual planning to ensure ongoing support of activities are understood, supported and aligned from a budgeting and resource/skills perspective
• Manage relationships directly with key partners including, Marketing, Incident Management, Product Groups, Digital Channels partners, external partners and various teams within the Digital Channel to ensure communication, collaboration and quality control
• Represent Digital Channel as a subject matter expert and coordinate activities as they relate to projects to ensure impact, consistency and messaging are aligned. Deliver a consistent and positive client experience
• Optimize content management and website administrative services
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, across various levels within the organization
• Promote knowledge sharing and a consistent approach to delivery through the team
 
Required Qualifications/Experience
 
• 3+ years’ experience working in an online/digital environment with large online projects
• Knowledge of unique issues/trends relating to the delivery of browser/mobile-based applications
• Knowledge of quality assurance, web page design/usability, including database design solutions
• Flexible to work late, and outside of core hours to meet deadlines
• Longevity in roles, promotions, and not a lot of gaps on resume
• Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written, to build relationships)
• Undergraduate degree
• Experience building and maintaining corporate or public-facing websites (around web content management)
• Familiar with project mgt. and analysis techniques (e.g. PMLC and SDLC methodologies and practices)
• A technical orientation: familiar with HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop, Dreamweaver
• Knowledge of: Accessibility for people with disabilities (PWD), interactive marketing strategies/technologies/practices, search engine marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), web content management (WCM), web analytics, social media, mobile technology, web programming techniques, graphical design and multimedia techniques
