Contract Duration: (6 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Providing an excellent partner service experience during the planning and delivery of instructor-led classroom/webinar/conferencing learning activities.
• Leveraging all defined learning and performance objectives during session(s) to support learners in building actionable next steps.
• Adjusting learning activities (within parameters) to best support learners in meeting the learning and performance objectives of the workshop.
• Providing Post-Workshop/Group Follow-Up learning sustainment activities to support learners in the transfer of learning, based on the program design.
• Delivering one-on-one performance coaching sessions to employees at various levels, and across all business lines/key support areas.
• Providing feedback to learning partners/clients, including other stakeholders on challenges/best practices that emerge from the classroom or post-workshop / learning sustainment activities.
• Demonstrating a clear understanding of how the role of Manager Facilitation supports the organization’s business objectives and strategic priorities.
• Acquiring a thorough understanding of the business model for each business line/key support area, including core processes used to fulfill the unit’s/organization’s mission and achieve results
• Ongoing and regular review of course/program level 1, 2, and 3 evaluation results (where available) to assess personal contribution and provide feedback to Learning Partners.
 
Required Qualifications/Experience
 
• A recognized post-secondary degree/certificate in Adult Education, or equivalent work experience
• 2-3 years of people management experience, with formal responsibility for performance management.
• Certified Training Practitioner (CTP™) accreditation completed through The Institute for Performance and Learning (i4PL).
• Completion of an ICF Accredited Coaching Program and Associate Certified Coach designation (ACC®) through the International Coach Federation (ICF).
• 3-5 years of classroom facilitation experience delivering management level programs, or 3-5 years of experience facilitating change initiatives with teams in a financial services company.
• 2-3 years of experience with virtual learning (iShare/ audio/video conferencing).
• Teaching level knowledge of learning facilitation.
• Working level of knowledge of other training and development standards and methodology.
• Teaching level knowledge of the material to be delivered.
• Teaching level knowledge of iShare application and related webinar technologies in order to support learners and help troubleshoot issues before and during workshops.
• Thorough level knowledge of the Global Learning and Development environment.
• Thorough level knowledge of all Lines of Business and Key Support Groups.
• Teaching level knowledge of professional coaching, and performance management techniques.
• Expert level knowledge of time management skills in order to satisfy the needs of large client groups
