Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for an IT Vendor Management Document Specialist
IT Vendor Management Document Specialist (59131052)
Contract Duration: (15 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
• Writing and/or updating Technical documentation
• Coordinating with the client’s SharePoint team on appropriate documentation strategy, library creation, legacy document migration and ongoing updating of documents in SharePoint libraries
• Electronic and paper filing duties as necessary
• Ensuring technical policies, procedures, instructions and other CSAM documentation is revised as required
• Publishing documentation on the ITS Intranet site for CSAM
• Maintain and educate staff on CSAM documentation practices and standards
• Preparation of CSAM PowerPoint presentations
• Assist IT staff members with respect to SharePoint as required
• Provide recommendations, guidance, and support with respect to the adoption of SharePoint features and capabilities
• Create and configure SharePoint Libraries, Lists etc.
• Manage site content types, site columns, lists, views, page content, web parts and their connections
Required Qualifications/Experience
• A university degree in Computer Science, or the equivalent, combined with directly related experience in a business or computer related discipline
• Must be able to fluently read, speak and write in English
• Must be proficient with MSOffice: Word, PowerPoint, Excel at a minimum
• Must be proficient with MS SharePoint
• You must have or rapidly acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements pertaining to passengers and employees.
• Experience building Document Management specific sites
• Basic understanding of SharePoint Email and Workflow capabilities
• Previous experience with web content design and online maintenance is an asset
• Experience with MS Visio an asset
