Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for a Business Analyst
 
JP22709 - Business Analyst (Fraud Analytics) (59365921)
 
Contract Duration: (6 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Work with business stakeholders and NAFA SMEs to assess current capabilities and understand high-level business requirements
• Work with the business to design effective “To-Be” fraud analytics and operations processes; identify and define use cases
• Work with the Fraud Business leaders to translate fraud requirements into specifications and processes.
• Plan, manage, lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project in alignment with the business and/or enterprise needs and strategies.
• Provide leadership and work collaboratively with stakeholders including business, technology and finance partners to support project benefits and changes to business processes, policies and systems across single or multiple Lines of Business (LoB).
• Build and deliver regular reporting for workstream
• Monitor action items and project plan activities to ensure deliverables are met with assigned timeline
• Develop material for executive meetings and reporting
• Document strategies and transform into working plans
• Expert knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices and standards across the project life-cycle
 
Required Qualifications/Experience
 
• 5-7+ years’ experience as a BA in (Fraud Analytics within financial industry)
• Program/project management experience
• Experience with Agile software development methodology
• Experience with both technical and business context
• Undergraduate degree
• Business Analysis Accreditation
• Experience working on Big Data/Analytics platforms
• Experience with one or more of the following: Waterfall, RUP, XP, MSF
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a high energy, demanding and team-oriented environment
• Must be detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks, and adapt quickly to changing needs of the business to meet deadlines
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive results
