Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for a Web Content Management Business Analyst
 
Web Content Management Business Analyst (59504965)
 
Contract Duration: (6 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
 
Responsibilities:
 
• As required, participate in all aspects of the system development life cycle. Work with Divisional subject matter experts to gather information on site content, accurately analyze critical details of business issues and opportunities with specific focus on gathering, reviewing, analysing and testing business and user needs for site content being managed by the new WordPress based web content management solution.
• Assist with the process of moving content from the old to the new web content management applications
• Assist with the creation and management of content inventories to catalog, track and organize existing and new web content.
• Assist client Divisions with the development of search-friendly content, including strategic keyword placement that optimizes content for indexing, ranking, and click throughs.
• Assist with the creation and sustainment of taxonomy/nomenclature lists and definitions.
• Assist with the decommissioning of the existing OpenText WEM based web content management application.
 
Required Qualifications/Experience
 
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst in a large enterprise environment. A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with municipal government is required.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience working on enterprise website development projects that included website design, construction and deployment, and the development of web content. Experience with large public sector organizations, preferably municipal, is required.
• In-depth experience in developing and implementing content development processes and guidelines for large organizations with large volumes of complex content.
• In-depth experience in content re-mapping or content migration planning and execution is required.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience working in website design/development projects using an enterprise scale web content management system (WCMS). Extensive experience with both WordPress v4.7 and OpenText Web Experience Management (WEM) v8.1.1 is required.
