Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for a Systems Analyst
Systems Analyst (59798412)
Contract Duration: (12 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
• Providing technical analysis for preparing Functional requirements
• Maintaining a productive and trustful relationship with representatives from client departments
• Liaising with other project areas to coordinate interdependencies and resolve business issues
• Providing technical and application support to business users during and after implementation phases
• Creating technical documentation according to the client Project Management and SDLC Standards.
• Providing on-site rollout and production support as part of new implementations.
• Ensuring a high standard of customer service by providing proactive and professional liaison with end users and IT service staff.
• Supporting business requirements, development and testing activities and provide clarification if necessary.
• Development of documentation including user and administrative guides
• Performing system functionality verification and unit testing
• Data analysis and loading through Integration Framework
• Execution of client Service Requests and Incident tickets during Warranty phase
Required Qualifications/Experience
• A Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science or business, or equivalent work experience in the work and asset management domain.
• At least 7 years of experience as a Systems analyst or a Developer
• Excellent knowledge of application development and maintenance, projects/methodologies and structured techniques for systems analysis, design and programming
• Exceptional ability to analyze requirements and document technical design
• Strong problem solving, planning and organization skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently with both technical staff and users at various levels to investigate and resolve technical problems
• Expert knowledge of MS Office tools (Access, Excel, Word, and Power Point), MS Project, and Visio
• Experience with Maximo and Knowledge of Maximo Asset Management Tool Experience in Transportation industry
• Demonstrable experience in the following aspects of Maximo v7.5 and above
