Contract Duration: (24 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
The (PCI/Security) Documentation Specialist is responsible for the enhancement of existing, or creation of new versions of, the following documents:
• Data retention policy
• Data disposal policy
• Data protection policy (to include Primary Account Number – PAN data explicitly)
• Antivirus Policy
• Password Policy
• Access Control Policy
• Encryption Key Management Policy
• Acceptable Use Policy
• Additional data to the Security Policy to address all PCI specific requirements
• Patch Management Process
• Daily operational security procedures
• Firewall and Router configuration standards
• Systems configuration standard for desktops
• Wireless security standard
• Systems Configuration standard for servers
• Procedures, standards, and requirements for PCI related data scanning and
• remediation
• Corporate PCI Risk Assessment
• Logging Standards, and schedules
Change detection procedures, standards, and schedules
• PCI Related Penetration testing standards, procedures, and schedules
• PCI Related Security Testing standards, procedures, and schedules
• PCI Related Vulnerability Testing standards, procedures, and schedules
• PCI Related Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention standards, procedures, and
• schedules
• PCI Security Awareness Program
• Corporate training Documentation for PCI policies, procedures, standards, programs,
• and response plans
• Corporate PCI website
• PCI Governance
• PCI Roles and Responsibilities
• Pre ROC documentation
• ROC documentation
The (PCI/Security) Documentation Specialist is responsible for ensuring that activities carried out across the organization are done in accordance with the approved PCI Documentation.
This can include the following
• Reports to PCI Steering Committee or PCI Governance team
• Reports to the PMO on project status, task status, risks and issues
• Reports on remediation status
The (PCI/Security) Documentation Specialist is responsible to support the Manager Risk Management & Cyber Security as directed and all other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications/Experience
Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum 8 years' experience on enterprise compliance projects and providing consulting to business units on information security policy and control requirements, design and monitoring.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in documenting policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
• Demonstrated experience designing policies aligning to ISO17799/27002 controls frameworks (or similar industry accepted frameworks)
• Minimum 6 years' experience in Risk Management
• Previous experience with Municipal Government PCI Compliance project(s)
• Familiarity with PCI DSS 3.2guidelines and data security standards
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and present project documents
• Excellent consulting skills, problem solving skills, facilitation, interpersonal, communication skills and presentation skills
• Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills
• Preference will be given to candidates who possess an Engineering Degree
• Preference will be given to applicant who possess Ontario Private Investigator Licence
