Position/Title: Microsoft Azure Specialist – Part Time
Length: Initial Contract until March 31, 2018
Start Date: September 2017

*** This is a part time role opportunity (up to 2-3 days per week) ***
 
Project Overview
 
Processes to be mapped out:
Azure Intake (IaaS):

  • Business Needs – Cloud Request form
  • Review MS Licensing
  • Design Azure Solution (service accts, subscription and resources)
  • PIA and Cloud RVA. Approve Design – TAWG or MS Online Coordination Group
  • Build it (ARM templates, policies, tags, etc)
  • UAT it (Business User access and Business User signoff)
  • Change Control (CAB) for deployment
  • Usage reporting and Billing/ Showback reporting to Business (DeptID Owners)

 
Azure Sustainment processes to be mapped out:

  • Necessary upgrades/ configuration changes
  • Patch management
  • Monitoring/ Alerts
  • Sponsor dashboard – uptime and availability stats
  • IT Help Desk – support scripts
  • Communications about Azure Services (IaaS) – ITAM Prep Pack/ Webpage with details.

 
Azure Security Monitoring and Audit processes to be mapped out:

  • Will use SIEM tools

 
MUST HAVES:
 

  • 2+ years experience managing and maintaining Azure Services Tenant for Organizations, include Production, Test and Development. - Experience as an administrator in a Cloud environment on the Microsoft Azure and O365 platforms.
  • Experience designing and implementing Microsoft Office 365, ADFS, Active Directory and Citrix NetScaler
  • Knowledge of the Azure Platform and architecture.
  • Develop, build, configure, customize and integrate Azure components as required.
  • Support delivery, escalate, and resolve user issues including subscription management services, correlation of usage and charges
  • Identify required tools, training, processes or capabilities to assess customer issues.
  • Collaborate with IT operations team for continuous service delivery.
  • Administer and support ADFS, Azure AD Connect, and all other related Azure Components.
  • Excellent customer support, organizational, project management skills.
  • Ability to write RunBooks/Operational Guides
  • Assist with Troubleshooting issues that arise with Microsoft Cloud Services – Azure and O365
