Open Text Content Server Configuration Specialist Job, Ottawa, ON
 
Modis has a requirement for an Open Text Content Server Configuration Specialist for one of its government clients based out in Ottawa. This is a won contract and not a RFP/bid.
 
Our client is seeking the assistance of a  Configuration Specialist  in support of the analysis, design, and implementation phase of GCDOCS, the client requires assistance in designing the configuration of Content Server 10.5 features.
 
Applicants must have enhanced / reliability security clearance.
 
The successful candidate must possess the following skills and experience:
 

  • A minimum of ten (10) years professional work experience within the IT field with a minimum of seven (7) years experience as a system analyst.
  • Note: System analyst experience may also include experience as an application architecture, business architecture or business analyst.
  • Must have two (2) years experience in providing functional guidance on Content Server best practices and assist in designing and implementing OpenText Folder Structures for Document Management end user usage with consideration of the Records Management File Plan Classifications and Security
  • Must have one (1) year of experience within the past four (4) years in designing and implementing Facets, Virtual Folders, and Collections
  • Must have two (2) years of experience within the past five (5) years in providing best practice knowledge and assisting  in designing Content Server Search features.

 
The following would be considered an asset:
 

  • Should have experience working in Information management field in government organization with a large number of employees (More than 5,000 employees) for at least one (1) year. The nature of the projects should demonstrate enterprise-wide delivery to the entire organization.
  • Should have one (1) year experience delivering projects using the Agile Scrum methodology.

 
The tasks will include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Designing and configuring OpenText Content Server Folder Structures for Document Management end user usage with consideration of the Records Management File Plan Classifications
  • Designing and configuring Facets, Virtual Folders, and Collections
  • Designing and configuring Content Server Search features
  • Designing and configuring Content Server Categories and Attributes
  • Provide Best Practice Knowledge in Information Management principles
  • Experience in release management of Content Server configurations from  Development to Test and Production instances of Content Server
  • Experience delivering projects using the Agile Scrum methodology
