Business Systems Analyst (60723327)
 
Contract Duration: (6 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Perform requirements stakeholder analysis to identify impacted or influencing groups and stakeholder requirements responsibilities
• Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates
• Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate parties
• Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
• Apply advanced elicitation techniques to work with different types of stakeholder groups
• Analyze and document scope of the business solution using enterprise-standard requirements methodology
• Analyze and document detailed business and system solution requirements using enterprise standard requirements methodology
• Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders
• Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise standards
• Integrates into requirements repositories for future reference and re-use
• Identify, track and resolve business systems issues during the project lifecycle
• Recommend business solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients
• Prepare requirements for review applying various communication techniques and lead requirements walk through and sign off sessions
 
Required Qualifications/Experience
 
• Proven experience with various project delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, Iterative
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Business areas: Fund Accounting, Middle Office and Reporting, including system knowledge of MPOWER and/or W360 Wealth.
• Experience in requirements planning and prioritization including stakeholder analysis and effort estimation
• Requirements elicitation techniques such as Document analysis, Interviews, Facilitated workshops, Observation, Prototyping, Focus groups, Surveys
• Requirements analysis and documentation:
o Scope Modelling
o Business Process Modelling
o Use Cases and Scenarios
o Data Requirements
o Business Rules Analysis and Decision Modelling
o User Interface Design
o Non- Functional requirements
o User Stories, Story Decomposition, and Story Mapping
o Acceptance and Evaluation Criteria Definition
• Requirements management and communication – requirements walk throughs; scope and change management; traceability; configuration management, Backlog Management
• Proven experience in one or more of the following business areas and related software applications:
o Fund Accounting
o Middle Office
o Custody
o Reporting
