Lead User Experience Designer
 
 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
• Translate user needs and business requirements into features and functionality for a responsive website.
• Provide design and client experience thought leadership;
• Prototype experiences of varying complexities and levels of detail;
• Present concepts and designs to peers and executive leaders, and be able to give and receive feedback;
• Document detailed designs and interactions, often with working animated examples;
• Work with business/marketing in the creation of a vision for user experience within the overall business strategy.
• Oversee the project team; accountable for work package timelines and deliverables.
 
 
 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
 
 
• Must have education in Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction or equivalent experience
• A proven track record of launched products that delight, innovate and scale
• Mastery of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and other tools such as Sketch and Keynote
• Mastery of prototyping tools such as Invision and Axure
• Experience with animation/motion graphics and interactive design
• Experience developing both low and high-fidelity wireframes and page schematics.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles, familiarity with usability research methods.
• Ability to handle multiple design projects concurrently
• Must be able to clearly document designs, explain design concepts to non-designers and effectively communicate project and design rationale to both designers and non-designers at all levels of the organization
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Curiosity and love for all things design
