Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for a Cyber Security Program Manager

Contract Duration: (12 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
 
Responsibilities:
 
• Manages programs with a moderate to high level of regulatory oversight
• Manages programs with a moderate to high risk profile
• Oversees overall and consolidated program financials, benefits realization analysis and manages the overall program budget
• Considered as a subject matter expert within the LoB with comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of project / program management
• Directly manages a team or Project Managers / Business Analysts and / or Specialized Resources to ensure talent needs and capabilities are developed to support long term goals for the unit
• Leads a diverse range of Stakeholders, communicates effectively with a diverse audience. Collaborates with key partners and influences sponsors, businesses and other partners
• Owns project / program / portfolio success as it relates to impact and experience of the client’s customers. Owns resolutions of issues to advance project/program / portfolio objectives
• Provide strategic guidance to business /functional leaders to ensure escalated concerns or regulatory or governance related program issues are appropriately managed
• Establishes effective project / program oversight and other governance bodies, and engages the correct levels to support the direction for the project / program
• Responds to inquiries and escalates concerns from stakeholders at all levels in the organization (technical, business, Senior and Executive Management)
• Provides on-going communication to key stakeholders, including the Program and / or Segment Sponsors, Business and Technology Project Owners, relevant Project Managers, Portfolio Managers or other key stakeholders to ensure they are aware of significant changes to the program status in a timely manner
• Provides advice and guidance to business partners and project / program teams as required regarding best practices in project management
 
Required Qualifications/Experience
 
• Strong communications skills – incumbent will be dealing with VP and EVP level people – need to be able to get to the point quickly and articulate
• Program Management experience (Worked on large programs +10 Million) * 10 years
• Leadership - Managed teams of +50 people * 10 years
• Banking/Financial Industry Experience * 8 years
• PMP Certified
• IT Risk management experience * 10 years
• Vendor Management experience * 8 years
• Quality and Process improvement experience * 10 years
• Cyber Security and Security operations background * 8 years
• Understanding of regulatory governing bodies such as PCI, SOX, COBIT * 8 years
