Modis, on behalf of our client is looking for a Project Coordinator
Project Coordinator (59799012)
Contract Duration: (24 months)
Location: Toronto, ON
• Provides leadership and coordination in delivery of scope items for assigned projects
• Completes scope definition and validation to enable clear team goals across the planning phases
• Functions as Project Lead in the delivery of initiatives across the project lifecycle
• Prepare project plans and schedules to define project tasks, timelines and resources
• Completes Project Charters, Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other project artifacts
• Participates in procurement process to acquire project materials and/or professional services
• Deploys completed solutions to production utilizing the organizational change management process
• Convenes and minutes project team meetings
• Applies client Solution Delivery Principles to rapidly provide solutions
Required Qualifications/Experience
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary projects including information technology, process engineering, construction and facility maintenance
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Previously demonstrated exceptional organization and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across a large organization to collect and manage information
• Administration of project work packages as assigned and fulfillment of project team commitments
• Experience tracking project costs, identifying variances and resolving related discrepancies
• Applied knowledge of MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Visio
• Participation in development of new PMO tools, templates and processes
• Post-Secondary Education (or equivalent experience) in a discipline such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology Systems
• Proven ability to apply project management principles and processes as recognized by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
• Minimum 10 years professional experience as Project Manager, Project Lead, Project Coordinator or Business/Systems Analyst
• Minimum 3 years’ experience creating and maintaining schedules with scheduling tools such as MS Project and Oracle Primavera(P6)
• Minimum 3 years applied experience in projects analytics and metrics
• Minimum 5 years’ experience creating business presentations, communications and executive reporting
• The successful candidate must currently possess a PMP designation
